EventMingle is a wholly owned subsidiary of Specialty Match Network, a privately owned company based in Bend, Oregon.

Founded by Jim Harrer and Scott Hunter, EventMingle is a configurable event based online social networking hosted web application designed to enable participants to Meet, Interact, Plan and Engage prior to arriving to a tradeshow, conferences, conventions and other events. Simply put, EventMingle is the hottest new application to hit the trade show industry in a long, long time.

Working in the technology field since 1987, Founder's Harrer and Hunter have attended their share of tradeshows, conferences and events. As exhibitors and speakers they have participated at COMDEX over 10 times, multiple PC EXPO's and CTI Expo. They have also attended dozens of conferences including AGENDA, DEMO, Microsoft's Developers Conference, Borland's Developers Conference and Windows CE Developers Conference to name a few. They have also produced their own User Group Conferences and understand the challenges in many aspects of event participation, from attending and speaking to exhibiting and producing.

EventMingle was designed to become the primary online social media for participants of the event long after the event is concluded. Over time, the physical event simply becomes the "Activity" where everyone goes to see their friends. It reinforces the tradeshow as a "Must Attend" event, which event producers love.
